Somebody please tell me that you routinely fail to correctly guess the word stretched out and distorted in that stupid window!
I don't know if I need glasses or if now after a couple of fluke misses I just phsyche myself out whenever I see one. I feel like I'm taking an I.Q. test everytime now.

hate them, too. i get all excited about posting a comment and then i remember the dreaded smooshed word and i start to panic and my fingers start to sweat and my eyes start to get fuzzy. and yet, without fail, i have to re-enter the word. seriously annoying.
ReplyDeletedon't know if this is correct or not...but when I first started posting comments I could NEVER get the word typed right the first time--even though I double checked it and it looked right. For some reason, I would always start typing the word before I "clicked" on the open line, so I would then click on the line and type the word. That NEVER works. If I remember to click on the line first, I haven't had any problem getting the word right the first try.
